Information Barrier Trade Surveillance Specialist

Our Team has been established as an independent surveillance unit, which set standards of surveillance across all regions, financial instruments and types of activity. We conduct end-to-end surveillance process - from identification of potentially suspicious trade up to discussion with senior management and decision process of whether given activity could be considered a breach.

As an Information Barrier Trade Surveillance Specialist your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Surveillance and analysis of the Bank's and clients' trading activities on the leading exchanges globally (e.g. LSE, Euronext, NYSE, HKE) across multiple asset classes
  • Review and monitor activity behind Restricted and Watch Lists of the Firm
  • Investigation of potential violations and abusive trading activities
  • Communication with traders and compliance officers to resolve potential breaches of information barriers policies
  • Close cooperation with compliance officers in London, New York, Hong Kong
  • Identification of risks and contribution to the ongoing development of the processes and surveillance scenarios
  • Management of multiple, deadline-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment

You Offer
  • You have a University degree in economics - specialization in finance or banking is an asset
  • You have 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally in the financial services industry
  • You have excellent understanding of the complexity of financial products and services
  • You possess sound analytical skills and attention to details
  • You would like to perform in a control function
  • You have very good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • You have strong communication skills with the ability and confidence to discuss issues at a senior level
  • You are a motivated and reliable teammate
