Group Finance Financial Controller for Alternative Investments # 113461
The Group Finance - Alternative Investments team is responsible for the financial reporting of the investments, fees and leverage interests of the Alternative Investments business in Credit Suisse Group's International Wealth Management Division. Additionally the team serves as the Legal Entity Controller for approximately 40 CS subsidiaries conducting alternative investments activities including those in the firm's U.S Intermediate Holding Company.
Manager for Group Finance Alternative Investments team which is responsible for firm accounting processes of the NY based Alternative Investments business. Team will consist of 7 accounting professionals in Raleigh.
Significant involvement in team's financial reporting processes including oversight of the month end reporting close, analysis and commentary of business results, and coordination/management of accounting requirements from the Alternative Investments business and other areas of the firm's CFO organization.
Month-end processes include variance analysis and recording of revenue activities from IWM front office finance functions, preparation of financial statement disclosures and tracking and recording of investments and related dedications and guarantees.
Providing overall support of the AI business for acquisition/ sale of investments and New Business activities including new product launches for investments, advisory fee initiatives and legal entity restructurings.

- Bachelors in Accounting with 5+ years work experience; preferably in financial services industry and CPA desirable
- 3+ years of management experience
- Strong accounting/finance professional with ability to establish/maintain solid working partnerships across Alternative Investments front office and other areas in the CFO organization
- Good communications skills both written and verbal
