Business Analyst / Project Manager for Balance Sheet Program # 100655

We Offer
Role involves business analysis and project management supporting various different enhancements to BSDM working with global team. Key responsibilities include but not limited to facilitate running weekly working group with business and IT, generating weekly scorecards, partnering closely with IT, tracking change and IT deliverables, gather timely update from the BA team, test-planning and execution.
  • Manage work requests and defects through to completion with Build and Test teams. Experience in assessing and re-engineering existing business process
  • Understand the end to end project plan along with the dependencies and the critical path items
  • Understand and document detailed business requirements and translate business needs into technical systems and process improvement solutions
  • Provide project status reporting and management of project budget and financials
  • Develop test plans, cases and scripts for releases and manage and/or execute user acceptance testing (UAT)Execute tasks on a timely basis according to a defined project work plan / project schedule
  • Ability to create front-to-back view of data flow based on identifying data linkages across systems

  • You are a Senior level PM (clearly operating at least VP seniority)
  • You have Finance data expertise (at least 5 years) in IB environment
  • You have knowledge of investment banking Product Control, Financial Accounting and/ or Financial Control
  • You have 8-10+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry
  • You have understanding of the Project Lifecycle Process
  • You have strong collaboration skills. Prince 2 / PMP knowledge
  • Adept at working independently (self-starter, individual contributor)

  • You are proficient in MS Office apps, i.e. Excel / PowerPoint / MS Project A good understanding of general ledger posting methodologies and reconciliation with sub-ledger
  • The ability to be content led and business oriented

  • The ability to command trust and respect across all key implementation partners (the business, Finance Change, IT, Basel Measurement and Reporting (BMR), Group Finance and CCAR) - be a trusted implementation partner
  • Excellent teammate (displays enthusiasm, confidence & dedication)
  • Ability to work independently and with colleagues in off-site locations

Education and Professional Qualifications
  • College Degree in either Finance, Accounting, or technical discipline
  • Focus in finance or accounting (financial control and regulatory reporting)
