The role will be accountable for working on the data sourcing work stream.
  • Perform detailed/complex data analysis and problem solving
  • Understand the end to end architecture per project and understand the impact of the in scope changes
  • Comprehend and Document detailed business requirements and translate business needs into technical systems and process improvement solutions
  • Develop test plans, cases and scripts for system releases and manage and/or execute functional testing and user acceptance testing
  • Execute tasks on a timely basis according to a defined project work plan / project schedule.
  • Manage issues / risks on projects with timely issue partner concerns and suggestions for issues resolution.
  • Effectively evaluation of different process and/or technology solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of functionality and technology to automate processes as needed.
  • Perform root cause analysis of issues related to data or business requirements. Follow through on issues and open item with multiple business partners globally and develop solutions, propose solutions, and facilitate agreeing a conclusion.


You Offer

Education and Professional Qualifications
Essential
  • College Degree in either Finance, Accounting, or technical subject area
  • Focus in finance or accounting (financial and regulatory reporting)
Work Experience
Essential
  • Equivalent experience of at least 7+ years
  • Financial Services industry experience (specifically in a Business analysis capacity.)
  • Strong evidence of process and system improvement solutions
Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge
Essential
  • Ability to perform detailed/complex data analysis tasks (Problem solving)
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects especially at an investment bank or similar Financial services institution
  • Ability to work independently and be proactive in finding opportunities for process and systems change (in order to assess / improve business processes)
  • Outstanding knowledge of Financial products, Support functions and Front to back lifecycles including Subledger and Ledger postings
  • Able to perform in fast paced time constrained environment (multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time with concrete delivery dates)
  • Excellent teammate (displays enthusiasm, confidence & commitment)
  • Strong communication ability (includes verbal & written abilities to capture and accurately represent line user requirements and communicate them to IT users)
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Visio, and understanding of Relational database structures!
