Asset Class Lead - Reporting Production, MI & Control Analyst # 107602

We Offer
The Derivatives Regulatory Reporting Control and Management Information team are responsible for monitoring the status of OTC Derivatives Trades reported to various regulators performed through completion of daily position reconciliation process and analysis of breaks. The team performs tactical reconciliations, reviews automated reconciliations, provides analysis of reconciliation results, investigation of issues highlighted in regards to breaks or timeliness, provide mentorship to support teams and on ad-hoc regulatory-related queries, sign-off on testing, author regulatory MI packs where reporting status and progress is communicated to Management through the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), and support design and implementation of control processes for new regulatory reporting regulations such as FinFrag.
  • Provide oversight of various reporting functions
  • Perform deep dive analysis on reconciliation and reporting issues to determine the best way forward and present findings and solution to partners
  • Review requirements, validate solutions, and implement logic to quantify expectations
  • Author and provide regular updates onto management informational packs
  • Generate extract from source system and consume resulting files onto tactical reconciliations in excel
  • Manage and support local team of analysts and provide direction to support the team in Poland
  • Outline requirements, implement short-term solutions, and validate results on tactical reconciliations
  • Validate test packs, and provide testing signoff for implementations in reconciliations and reporting stream
  • Resolve complex client and internal queries that cannot be completed COE

You Offer
  • You have a bachelors degree
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • You have strong analytical skills with ability to turn around ad-hoc requests on short notice
  • You have good communication and presentation skills; you should be comfortable presenting and quantifying decisions to partners
  • You have the ability to manipulate large excel spreadsheets using advanced excel coding
  • You are familiar with SDLC and/or experienced with reconciliations
  • You are to perform high level of accuracy and have good attention to detail
  • You have the ability to understand situations, resolve issues, suggest methods of resolution & implement
  • Your directives will be provided, and updates will be required during NY business hours
  • You have an experience in derivative instruments and/or regulatory trade reporting for Dodd-Frank, Canada, and EMIR a plus
  • Your VBA skills and/or familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus
