Manage the leader development specialty training programs for the Army client. Work with the client's major subordinate commands and Human Resources Command to compile order of merit lists for Strategic Broadening Seminars (SBS) and Broadening Opportunities (BOP) for military and civilians, run SBS and BOP selection boards and coordinate with the client's subordinate commands to apply plans, procedures, policies and content for programs and make recommendations to the Leader Development Division Chief for future training requirements. Research requirements with various universities and other organizations to identify new SBS and BOP opportunities for the Army client's soldiers and manage the payment for training with civilian training institutions. Analyze unit data and various Individual Training (IT) reports, including quota utilization, no shows, Professional Military Education (PME) and prepare reports, presentations, and other documents to support training and data analysis, as needed. Project fiscal requirements for each fiscal year. Provide Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), Civilian Human Resources Training Application System (CHRTAS) and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) support to Career Management Field (CMF) managers, as needed. This position will require travel up to 10% of the time.
