Director, HW Program & Project Delivery
In this role you have the opportunity to lead and develop a multi-functional group of project managers, business analysts and configuration associates within the Health and Welfare Operations organization focused on quality delivery of programs and projects in support of our customers.

The Expertise We're Looking For
  • Some experience with HW Annual Enrollment with specific focus on business process or project delivery business processes required
  • People management experience for one or more project-related functional groups
  • 5 or more years of experience in HW benefits outsourcing preferred with exposure to flexible benefits, benefits outsourcing record keeping system configuration and implementation
  • 3-5 years change management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of H&W business preferred
  • BS or BA required

The Purpose of Your Role

As the Director of Program Delivery, you will be accountable for a book of client business as the manager of associates tactically supporting the client project work. You have the authority to make decisions in line with the overall guidance set by the department leader. This will involve associate coaching and mentoring, challenge & obstacle removal, associate support and guidance. You will be accountable for day to day tactical decisions relative to the work your team is doing AND be part of a highly collaborative leadership team working together to advance department strategic goals. Finally, you will drive continuous process improvement and scale / efficiency strategies.

The Value You Deliver
  • You will hire, manage and develop a group of project-focused associates providing guidance, support, mentorship and coaching as they perform the following tasks :
    • Leading and working in the cross project / cross functional team to develop and implement solutions to address our clients' benefit plan requirements
    • When required, taking an integrated approach to solutions, either coordinating with or managing other product lines (Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution, and Stock Plan Services) to fulfill project obligations
    • Coordinating Operations, WPS, Production Support, Data Management and File Processing organizations to ensure staffing, approach, content and schedules are consistent for timely project completion
    • Communicating status and resolving issues related to the project as they impact their teams regarding deliverables, time lines, and standard services
    • Developing & configuration client-specific project solutions
    • Conducting project-related analysis of various systems, creating client-specific requirement documents and troubleshooting web and platform issues
    • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting project status' / progress to Fidelity leaders and client contacts
    • Managing costs by monitoring each projects' or programs' scope (via the change control process), meeting established timelines, managing expenses and delivering solutions within the standard service model
    • Citing trends and opportunities for process improvement within the Program & Project Management organization
  • You will have opportunities to work cooperatively with functional partner leaders to ensure tight synergies and relationships to enable innovative problem solving
