Job Description
Mission Statement: CMRG will set the standard for global risk management

CMRG is seeking an outstanding Market Risk Reporting Consultant with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills to lead the Market Risk Management Reporting Team, which provides direct risk reporting for all market-to-market assets within Wells Fargo, including Fixed Income, Equities, Municipals, Principal Investing, and other activities. This team also works with Front Office, Market Risk Officers (MROs), Finance, Technology, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure that risk reporting is accurate and complete.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and reviewing management reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis
  • Monitoring, reporting, analyzing, and communicating with MROs, Technology, and other constituents of market risk infrastructure
  • Maintaining and creating reporting templates
  • Participating in and managing the end-of-day reporting process
  • Reviewing data and commentary for accuracy, clarity, and completeness
  • Understanding and applying formatting standards across all relevant reports
  • Responding to ad-hoc requests for data and/or presentations from senior managers, regulators, auditors, and other sources
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trading, desk analyst, or capital markets

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation
  • Financial Risk Management Certificate (FRM)
  • Knowledge and understanding of risk measures and calculations ( dv01, delta, vega, gamma)
  • 3+ years of risk management experience
  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
  • Experience communicating with business partners and project managers
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
  • Knowledge and understanding of compiling and preparing executive summaries, whitepaper, and presentations for management/senior leaders
  • Knowledge and understanding of SQL
  • VB (Visual Basic) experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with generating and formatting presentations within specific standards for senior
    management and client-facing businesses
  • Familiarity with shared Excel models, templates and related formatting conventions
  • Business process and leadership exposure with demonstrated success managing and implementing complex projects and processes
  • Proven success achieving objectives requiring a high level of cooperation from people in other parts of the organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of Investment tools such as Bloomberg
