Job Description:

Associates provide relationship management, support, and analysis to senior staff in business development and client retention activities for institutional clients. With initiative and proven success, Associates will have the opportunity to work more closely with clients to perform more externally-facing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Support the day-to-day activities of the teams Regional Directors and Senior Associates
• Prepare presentation materials to be used in meetings with institutional clients and prospects. Examples of deliverables include introductory presentations, portfolio reviews and follow-up materials.
• Compile performance data, portfolio commentary and analytical material in preparation for meetings or in response to client inquiries.
• Provide quality control for the data included in client reports and requests
• Facilitate the completion of due diligence requests and client questionnaires
• Help maintain CRM database
• Build marketing lists for institutional luncheons, investment forums and conferences
• Review and edit RFPs
• Communicate daily with internal groups, including operations, portfolio management, research, legal, compliance and marketing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
• Background or strong interest in finance/investments
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, team-player
• Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
• Self-starter who is capable of completing multiple projects within set deadlines
• Strong computer skills (Excel and Word) with the ability to learn programs as needed
• Solid quantitative problem-solving skills
• Ability to successfully pass the Series 7 within the first 120 days of employment in order to interact with clients, followed by the Series 63/66
