How This Role Contributes to Brighthouse Financial:
The role of the Account Manager Associate will collaborate with assigned Strategic Relationship Managers (SRMs) to maintain and enhance relationships between Brighthouse and assigned Firms, by representing Brighthouse to the firm, and taking strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:
• Relationships
- collaborate with SRMs to maintain and enhance relationships between assigned Firms and various departments within Brighthouse (i.e.; Marketing, Sales Desk, Product, Compliance) by assisting with product approvals, training events, reporting, conferences, marketing campaigns, wholesaler support activities, etc.
• Communication - engages effectively with Firms and internal partners (written & verbal) to address various questions and resolve important business and operational issues, enabling Firm and on-site meetings as necessary
• Participation/Teamwork - identifies opportunities to grow sales and firm relationships; shares perspectives, ideas & best practices with the SRM during business planning process, and is proactive with assignments and role
• Engagement - ability to adapt, think critically, multi-task and work efficiently in a variety of situations
Representation of SRM in various internal and industry meetings to share perspective and ideas, then sharing take-aways with the SRM team

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of annuity & Life products, sales process, marketing, sales operations and investment products within the financial services industry
• The ability to build relationships at all levels within Brighthouse and support internal & external partners
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills, ability to adapt, think critically and work efficiently in a variety of situations
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field preferred
• SalesForce reporting a plus
