Senior Mortgage Underwriter (Remote)
A mortgage client of ours based in St. Louis, Missouri is looking for 2 Post Closing Senior Underwriters to join their growing company.
Responsibilities include: - Analyze and review all pertinent information within the loan file for compliance with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Application of all applicable policies and regulatory guidelines for the credit decision process.
- Select the required conditions on each loan which must be satisfied prior to funding.
- Correspond with appropriate parties to obtain outstanding documentation to complete requirements as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements include: - 4-5 years' related experience in mortgage underwriting or processing.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics including reviewing trends and statistical outliers.
- Knowledge of Encompass, HFA, and VA.
- Post closing experience
