Serve as Product Owner for the Event Management product and manage technical delivery for a global team comprised of onshore and offshore resources. Primary responsibility for ServiceNow ITOM Health/Event Management application including integrations with 3rd party monitoring and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities - Perform a variety of senior-level engineering tasks around system design, implementation, integration, and optimization within a technology domain or line of business.
- Take ownership and assist the internal team with scoping service engagements typically involving multiple ServiceNow products and complex integrations with various monitoring tools.
- Define and document, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions which are fit for business and are based on ServiceNow Implementation best practices.
- Write/estimate Stories, monitor Developer's work, and own overall quality and delivery of development; may perform a portion of development on Stories that cannot be delegated.
- Responsible for Sprint demos and delivery of additional development artifacts, documentation, and knowledge transfer and hand offs to operations team.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and products via webinars, case study, training, and all other resources available
- Perform research into technology partner or other vendor solutions in context of implementing Event Management requirements.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the Event Management product at Ameriprise.
- Expand and drive adoption of Alert Management as a practice.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the team.
Required Qualifications - Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
- 7+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design and operation of enterprise-level complexity computing systems.
- 5+ years of experience and proven ability to lead and influence others without a direct line of authority.
- Has proven skills on technical implementations and strong development skills on ServiceNow Event Management in particular.
- Demonstrated skills developing and configuring Event and Alert rules, workflows, sub-flows and actions with Flow Designer.
- Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS, Jelly, etc.
- Hands-on expertise and event management integration knowledge with one or more of the following monitoring/analytics tools: Sumologic, NetOps, Science Logic, SCOM, Dynatrace.
- Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Ansible and Teams spokes.
- Ability to comprehend, modify and create server-side, object-oriented JavaScript, Python, Unix Shell scripting and Windows scripting and PowerShell scripts.
- Advanced and current understanding (and practice) of supported integration points, including RESTful API, JSON v2, and out of the box ServiceNow integrations for NetOps, Azure, Dynatrace, etc.
- Experience implementing and familiarity with systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks).
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity
- Proven team player and team builder.
- Experience with CICD pipeline deployment, CFT and Terraform.
- Advanced and current understanding (and practice) of supported integration points, including RESTful API, JSON v2, and out of the box ServiceNow integrations for NetOps, Azure, Dynatrace, etc.
- Experience implementing and familiarity with systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology
- System Administration experience, to include hardware and network experience on Unix and/or Windows platforms.
- Broad technical knowledge across a majority, with expert level depth in several of the following: Web application development, software engineering and/or testing.
Preferred Qualifications - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Strong understanding of cloud technology including serverless compute, load balancers, EKS, DNS services
- Additional experience in following product lines: ITSM, CMDB, Disocvery and Service Mapping.
- Good understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
- ITIL Foundations Certification
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Active listening skills, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, and presentational)
