Job Description

The Information Security Services LDP is an 18-month commitment crafted to cultivate your business knowledge, gain on-the-job training, network in an encouraging, inclusive, team-based environment, have exposure to senior leaders and contribute to the success of the company through three, 6-month rotations. In addition, you will have access to our Business Resource Networks, including the Black Employee Network, Young Professionals Network, PRIDE Network, and others!

The Ameriprise Financial Information Security Services LDP offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of the company by delivering secure technology solutions that support the evolving needs of our clients, advisors, and employees.

The Information Security Services LDP rotates through and completes work within the following business areas:

• Governance, Risk & Compliance
• Cyber Security
• Threat & Vulnerability Management
• Identity & Access Governance
• Project & Red Teams

After exploring the breadth of the business unit(s) through each rotation, LDPs may have the opportunity to post to a permanent position within Ameriprise Financial.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary depending on current rotation and assigned projects(s) and may include:

• Partner with and work across the entire Information Technology organization to deliver secure business solutions
• Gain an understanding of and support various security tools
• Application security design
• Security architecture design
• Defining business, user, and systems requirements
• Develop user acceptance test plans
• Develop document, test, and modify new and existing code
• Develop working knowledge of systems and processes
• Business Analysis
• Building Process Flows
• Create and deliver presentations to various business stakeholders
• Risk Identification and Remediation
• Project Management
• Project Coordination
• Reporting (SQL queries to databases) / Correlation
• ITIL Management (Change, Problem, Incident, Configuration)

Required Qualifications

• Current Senior at a 4-year university pursing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
• Graduation date of December 2021 or May/June 2022
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Previous internship experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Commitment to complete the full 18-month Leadership Development Program

Preferred Qualifications

• High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with all levels of the organization including team members, managers, and senior leaders
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• 1-3 years of development/programming/coding experience
• First level knowledge and/or demonstrated technical ability to understand code and technology infrastructure in multiple environments
• Demonstrated basic understanding of the Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) and programming/development procedures
• Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn and apply new tools and processes with logical, analytical, and abstract thinking skills
