Director Business Systems Analysis
Job Description

Provide strategic leadership to team, overseeing requirements definition, testing, and overall workflow. This will include creating projects, process specifications and conducting quality inspections. Ensure requirement gathering is in alignment with business and technology partners.
Manage projects involving technology, ensure that system-related issues are resolved in timely and accurate manner. This role is the key interface to technology partners and business partners for technology based initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work across business unit to establish strategic direction for a team of Business Systems Analysts. Builds relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities, and to develop supporting process improvement initiatives. Act as liaison between business and technology for the develop and implementation of new systems and/or enhancements.
  • Lead the design, development and implementation of tools and reports that support operational excellence, productivity enhancements, growth and other key initiatives. Ensure analysis, documentation and management of business and user requirements are best solutions to address the requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining projects on time and budget, reporting on progress, managing expectations and risk, and ensuring
  • ensuring post-implementation benefits are measured.
  • Support business strategies and objectives by overseeing the delivery business unit technology solutions on time and within budget. Ensure solutions are of high quality, cost effective and implemented in a sustainable manner. Manage escalated project communications, risks and issues, determine when further escalation is required.
  • Provides people and organizational leadership. Provides feedback & coaching to employees, including goal setting and PMP process.
  • Support business strategies and objectives by overseeing the delivery business unit technology solutions on time and within budget. Ensure solutions are of high quality, cost effective and implemented in a sustainable manner. Manage escalated project communications, risks and issues, determine when further escalation is required.
  • Stay abreast of new developments in business process improvement methodology and best practices, including learning from other market leaders and industries.


Required Qualifications

  • Extensive quantitative and analytical skills with experience in process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability in integrating business knowledge with analytical insight.
  • Ability to influence across organization, motivate and negotiate with senior leaders and corporate office partners.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, ability to analyze data and recommend solutions.
  • Must have excellent program management experience/skill.
