Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.

Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Product Operations encompasses two functionally aligned organizations. The first, Trading & Client Operations, provides Operations functions in direct support of activity executed by Institutional Sales &Trading. The second, Clearing Operations, provides Operations functions in direct support for activity cleared by Morgan Stanley on behalf of our clients in Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivatives, and OTC Derivatives. The broad organization partners closely with Sales and Trading to develop and implement new products and services as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes. At all times we are focused on delivering quality service to clients both internal and external. ISG Product Operations partners closely with Shared Services and Banking Operations as well as Branch Operations and Operations Risk & Control to deliver a connected 'front to back' view of operations to ISG Sales and Trading.

Act as a key support for Morgan Stanley's Bank Resource Management (BRM) Desk performing trade maintenance and daily book balancing to facilitate the timely settlement of securities borrowed and loaned as well as the accuracy of the Firms books and records. This involves interacting daily with the Domestic Securities Lending trading desk as well as liaising with internal clients such as Position Services and Global Settlement teams. The actions of the Stock Loan Middle Office team have direct impact on the Firm as failure to carry out timely amendments and balancing can result in Financial and Franchise risk for the Firm.

Responsibilities:

- Performing timely deal amendments for US Domestic market
- Processing returns and trade exceptions intraday to facilitate settlement
- Processing payments for daily stock loan activity and mark to markets
- Updating and maintenance of client profiles.
- Monitoring of central mailbox
- BU ad hoc requests.
- Providing support to 3rd Party Vendor for requests such as deal amendments, payment processing, and investigation of contract discrepancies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of three years work experience
- Previous experience with the Stock Loan Product preferred
- Ability to work in a fast pace, pressured environment
- Ability to work with external clients to enhance the client experience
- Escalation Awareness- ability to assess risk and exposure issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of financial markets and settlements
- Detail Oriented
