The Compliance Analyst will support the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer in continuously reviewing, testing, and maintaining the firm’s comprehensive compliance program. The Compliance Analyst will assist in all aspects of compliance in adherence to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. This position works closely with the compliance team, internal legal counsel, as well as external service providers. The position reports directly to the CCO.

 The Compliance Analyst will support the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer in continuously reviewing, testing, and maintaining the firm’s comprehensive compliance program. The Compliance Analyst will assist in all aspects of compliance in adherence to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. This position works closely with the compliance team, internal legal counsel, as well as external service providers. The position reports directly to the CCO.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain internal controls that detect violations of company policies and procedures; prepare and complete various regulatory filings
  • Manage/review employee requests under the Code of Ethics (Private Placements, Outside Business Activities, Personal Trading); ensure all Code of Ethics and other related certifications are completed
  • Help evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Assist in the review of marketing materials and RFPs
  • Collaborate closely with new hires to ensure that all Compliance onboarding requirements are completed; provide administrative support to the Compliance Team
  • Coordinate and work with Human Resources to ensure all compliance obligations are fulfilled prior to any employee departures
  • Provide support with coordinating and conducting compliance training
  • Manage ad hoc projects for the Compliance Team as they arise

Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 years of compliance experience with a Registered Investment Adviser
  • Experience within asset management, wealth management, or compliance consulting
  • Ability to translate legal documents into information easily understood by all levels of the organization to facilitate efficient and accurate policy development and implementation, based on compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, people management, taking care of complex issues, requirements analysis, and legal compliance
  • Strong work ethic and collaborator in a team setting
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability
  • Ability to multitask and work well with all employees
  • Motivated and committed to high-quality internal and external service and continuous professional development
