Global Partners LP (Global) is seeking a self-motivated and detail oriented professional to help coordinate Globals environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs.  The EHS coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Team Leads and EHS Management to ensure that Globals assets remain in compliance with EHS requirements and operate in a safe and effective manner through various tools in our EHS management system.

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for managing compliance and training software platforms, assisting in the development of training programs, preparing corporate communications, gathering and analyzing EHS metrics, researching EHS standards, procedures and guidelines as well as performing general administrative duties.  The candidate will have direct reporting responsibility to EHS management but will have regular interaction with EHS leads and operations staff to support ongoing initiatives.

This position is designed as a part time office position up to 30 hours per week with potential for growth to full time.  Work hours are flexible during normal business hours.   

Required Qualifications
  • Expertise in data management, interpretation and communications
  • Experience with web-based software platforms and interest in learning EHS software programs.
  • Expertise in visual communications using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other systems to enhance EHS branding through visually engaging content
  • Experience in implementing, evaluating and supporting EHS or related programs
  • Strong writing skills and data management competency with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to shift focus and maintain priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or certifications in an EHS related field preferred
  • Experience working with EHS management information systems and/or learning management systems
  • Experience in developing and deploying training content including computer-based training systems
  • Experience with collection and analysis of performance metrics
  • Familiarity with EHS regulatory requirements
