Government Property Manager
Walpole, MA

As the Government Property Manager for Rolls-Royce, you will provide a resource into the Defense Government Property program ensuring compliance to and maintenance of Walpole Government Property. You will also identify, develop and implement improvement in Government Property systems and processes. You will also have the opportunity to be the focal point for and co-ordinate internal and external audits, as well as train the work force on government property rules and regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To ensure that Walpole is compliant to all Government Property requirements in alignment with the FAR and RR polices
  • To establish robust processes for each of the 10 performance-based outcomes (15 function) in order to manage Government Property throughout the facility
  • Ensure that the 10 based performance processes are built into the different functions and areas that interact, handle, contract and are involved with Government Property
  • To guide, teach, train and advise the Walpole team in the Government Property processes and procedures in order to become self-sustaining
  • Establish self-assessments and regular internal audits
  • Establish a perpetual physical inventory plan including maintenance and calibration
  • Develop a process to establish root cause and corrective actions from the self-assessments and audits
  • Run workshops periodically to ensure the teams are meeting the Government Property requirements and to establish a continuous improvement program
  • Be the focal point for external audits and ensure that the team follows the processes in order to pass the external audits

Basic Requirements:

  • Associates degree with 8+ years experience in government property OR;
  • Bachelors degree with 4+ years experience in government property OR;
  • Masters degree with 2+ years experience in government property OR;
  • In lieu of degree, 12+ years experience in government property
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires US Citizenship

Preferred Requirements:

  • Project or Program Management experience
  • Previous continuous improvement experience
  • Utilizing cycle counting and maintenance of government property
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Prior SAP experience
