Material Requirements Planning Controller (MRPC) - Buy

Walpole, MA

As a Material Requirements Planning Controller for Rolls-Royce, youll play a supportive role through advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability and potential production obstacles to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed for our Naval Marine group.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring the maintenance of component planning data that will enable cascade of demand through the supply chain resulting in a committed plan
  • Being the primary interface and leading operational relationships with suppliers to co-ordinate all improvement activities associated with planning, control, inventory, delivery and lead time
  • Understanding Load and Capacity constraints within a supplier that may impact performance and delivery
  • Leading business reviews with their suppliers ensuring that both the suppliers and Rolls-Royces requirements are being met considering the impact of Quality, total cost and Delivery on the supply chain team
  • Managing and coordinating delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programmes to meet the plan
  • Managing the impact and escalating issues
  • Ensuring paperwork and information transfer in relation to all part movements is compliant with business and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring resolution of unverified invoice queries relating to schedule changes and goods receipt and liaise with buyer to ensure resolution of any price blocked invoices

Basic:

  • An Associates degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 6+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • A Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • A Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 0+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • In lieu of a degree, 10+ years experience in a supply chain or operations environment
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity you must be U.S. Citizen/Resident, Asylee, Refugee or have permanent/indefinite work authorization. No visa sponsorship for this position.

Preferred:

  • SAP experience
  • Experience with APICS
  • Experience with project management
