Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) is responsible for providing Enterprise wide services, including an operating model, policies, procedures, governance and oversight programs for all regions and countries where State Street Corporation conducts business. The TPRM program has been established to respond to, and adhere to, new and existing regulatory guidelines and initiatives enabling State Street to effectively assess and manage the risk introduced by engaging with third parties during the course of executing business activities. This job opening is specifically related to TPRM, operating under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment.


The selected qualified candidate will provide operational support and assess process and technology improvement opportunities to maximize productivity for the global TPRM Vendor Operations team. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide operational support for the Vendor Operations team
  • Monitor end-to-end throughput, recommend and implement productivity and quality improvements
  • Analyze the Vendor Operations process, determine and implement process improvements
  • Provide support in the execution new program components in-line with regulatory requirements
  • Provide support in the implementation and execution of the TPRM Framework and supporting technology
  • Participate in working groups among Business Units, Corporate Teams and First, Second and Third Line of Defense teams.
  • Documents and assist with issues and risks as they arise
  • Interface with key stakeholders across the organization; ensures service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Influence recommendations to key stakeholders through strong negotiation, written and verbal communication


  • Serves as an advocate and change agent, and persuades and influences courageously at all levels of the organization
  • Communicates recommendations to management / senior business leaders through effective written and verbal communication
  • Engages business leads and peers, interfaces with senior leaders across the organization; ensures service quality and customer satisfaction

  • Anticipates internal client business issues and developments in own discipline; uses knowledge to focus work and drive improvements

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation and negotiation skills
