Technical Production Support Analyst, AVP-5
Who we are looking for
Our groups mission is the support of all facets of our platforms while optimizing processes through automation. The successful candidate for the Technical Production Support Analyst role will utilize the proper mix of technical experience and interpersonal abilities to work with Development, Infrastructure support and Business end users to provide timely solutions.

What you will be responsible for
As the Technical Application Support Analyst you will
  • Manage deliverables for critical applications by working with Business users and understand the SLA's
  • Drive deliverables to meet SLAs and mitigate Client impact
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Application across Client environments
  • Timely engagement of required teams on Incident call
  • Understand/identify application process flow and analytics in support of better service level objectives
  • Respond to user issues, working with the Development team or external support teams for the resolution
  • Work with Technical team members to identify and implement automated process improvements using PowerShell and other scripting utilities
  • Understand/identify application process flow and analytics in support of better service level objectives
  • Take part in the Release Management process to ensure stable code delivery to UAT and Production Environments
  • Work with the Data Delivery team in monitoring the Data delivery application, ensuring files to and from clients are received and delivered to meet SLA's
  • Strong documentation skills when logging product issues, which includes observations, diagnoses, action steps, and tracking errors.
  • Strong communication skills while collaborating across various departments in providing clear, regular updates related to issues
  • Promotes teamwork and works to establish consensus among team members

  • Experience with Webspher 8x and 9.1
  • Experience with Webserver IHS-8.5
  • Experience with Tomcat 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x
  • Experience with Unix / Linux [RHEL 7.1]
  • Experience with UCD v7.x
  • Experience with Shell script v3.x
  • Experience with Ant Build v1.x
  • Experience with Cloud -IaaS
  • Experience with release management
  • Working knowledge of Helpdesk / Problem Management Software (e.g. Service Now, Remedy, Jira)
  • Advanced debugging and trouble shooting skills
  • Cloud experiece is a plus
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills
  • Strong Analytical & Problem Solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor/ Master degree in a Technology related field such as Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent industry experience.
  • A minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in a Production Support capacity
