State Street is seeking highly motivated individuals with cross disciplinary technical experience to help drive application security verification to The left within its System Development Life Cycles.

Candidates will present a dominant discipline overlapped by others that are relevant, such as Program Management, Security Architecture, Security Analysis, Application Development and Application Functional Quality Assurance testing.

Drive the establishment of application security architecture across

Public Cloud deployments

Private & Hybrid Cloud settings

Enterprise Systems

Design the following models suitable for advancing enterprise applications to clouds

Adaptive and integrated Identity Management

Course and Fine Grained Authorization

Federated Single Sign-On and Direct Authentication

Oversee deployment of these designs

Requirements

• 5 years of industry experience in IT/Financial Services setting.
• Bachelors Degree in a Science, Engineering or Technology discipline
• Masters Degree in Computer Science
• Masters Degree in Information Security and/or equivalent experience that covers at least the following security domains:

• Security Engineering
• Confidentiality / Cryptography
• Communications & Network Security
• Secure Software Development
• Identity & Access Management.
• Application Specific Access Control
• Security Assessment & Testing
• Security Operations

• 2+ years in an IT Risk Management or Information Security organization or equivalent experience and training
• Demonstrated knowledge of information security principles and a willingness to continue the development of information security knowledge and skills.
  
• Must have a demonstrable integrative thinking ability
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experienced software development or software QA practitioner with familiarity of Waterfall and Agile Software Development Life-Cycles
• Strong ability to work well individually and among teams
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, proficient with Visio, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience working with matrix teams including teams in different time zones
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally
• A plus
• Experience operating in a highly regulated industry and under continuous scrutiny from internal/external auditing organizations
• Extensive experience documenting application security architecture at component, Enterprise and Cloud levels
• Collaborative, contemplative, decisive and strong willed demeanor
