The successful candidate will be: (1) energetic and well-spoken, (2) someone eager to close sales and increase revenue, (3) a person that enjoys cultivating relationships with customers, account teams and channel partners, (4) is comfortable making dozens of calls per day.
The Inside Sales Representative will Sales qualify leads and actively sell Mentor Graphics products while working in a team environment and with various sales channels.This is a strong collaborative team who needs a person that works well with others while driving the sales process and meeting individual sales goals.
Sales management including the development and closing of new customers while expanding sales within the existing customer base.
Driving sales through strong selling practices to include: prospect identification; relationship development; needs assessment; competitive product positioning; negotiation and closure.
Actively contributes to the success of the Sales channel by participating in relevant annual, quarterly, and weekly business planning activities to include forecasting; opportunity management; and attainment of sales goals.
Grow Marketing qualified leads into Sales qualified leads, drive promotions and seek add-on sales opportunities.
Follow up and cold calls for target campaigns.
Quoting customers on new product orders.
Skill Set Required:
Proven track record selling technical products over the phone
Aptitude for learning and discussing highly technical products efficiently
Excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills
Solid ability to navigate and learn a variety of databases
Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
Effective Time Management
Capacity to Work Collaboratively Across Multiple Divisions/Groups
Ability to Build Customer Relationships
Sales Scoping & Qualification
MS Office experience highly preferred
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years Inside Sales related experience
