-5+ years of experience as an electronics engineer or hardware engineer
-Experience in PCB layout or design, fabrication, and mechanical tools, and working with assembly vendors
-Experience with developing, integrating, and troubleshooting complex systems comprised of custom electronics, software, firmware, commercial sensors, and mechanical housings
-Experience with system architecture development and requirements review or development
- in partnering with software, firmware, and mechanical engineers on projects
- with typical electronics engineering equipment, including power supplies, DVMs, oscilloscopes, frequency generators, and logic analyzers
-Experience with inspecting and troubleshooting incoming assemblies and circuits to component level
-Experience with electronics design software
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with technical writing and level of effort estimations for new projects
-Experience with leading individual design tasks
-Experience with Altium, including symbol and footprint creation and library management
-Experience with microcontroller firmware design preferred
-Experience with programming, including C programming for microcontrollers preferred
-Experience with Atmel or PIC microcontrollers
-Knowledge of common communications protocols, including I2C, SPI, and UART
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Secret clearance preferred
-BS degree in EE, Electronics Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred; MS degree in EE, Electronics Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field a plus
