The CR Loss Mitigation Processing Agentperforms inline risk control for loss mitigation verification and review offinancial documentation, loss mitigation data, loss mitigation waterfalls andcontractual documents; ensuring the accuracy of all data and the appropriatedecision rendered throughout the loss mitigation review process. This includesmodifications, shorts sales and deed in lieu. They must manage in compliancewith Federal laws, State laws, and Investor specific guidelines.
Audit contractual documents for accuracy andcompliance to policy.
Ability to interpret and apply underwritingpolicies, guidelines, and procedures at an investor level.
Maintain current knowledge for loss mitigationprograms and government regulations including CFPB requirements, legislativeupdates and frequent investor specific updates.
Ability to learn the organization and internalpoints of contact.
Advanced verbal and written communicationskills; significant knowledge of mortgage servicing systems and applications,investor guidelines, mortgage insurance guidelines and loan workout strategies
Audit decision data and decision rendered foraccuracy and compliance
Ability to learn federal and state laws andcompliance requirements related to loan servicing
Ability to maintain professional independencewhile working closely with business units.
Needs to be creative in seeking optimumsolution to a problem and extensive knowledge of mortgage loan servicingpolicies and procedures.
Must possess strong analytical/criticalthinking skills and have the ability to suggest ways to minimize compliancerisk;
Must possess the ability to prioritizeworkload and balance attention toward multiple projects.
Advanced expertise required of bankruptcy andforeclosure.

Ability to read/comprehend simpleinstructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence;effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations tocustomers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbersand to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money andweight measurement, volume, and distance.
