Serve as a strategic operational business partner to the Department Manager, Assistant Vice President and/or Second Assistant Vice President as it relates to the Timeline Management areas which include Foreclosure & Default Documents. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in the implementation of all aspects of the departments policies, objectives, and initiatives. Assist with the initiation and development of programs designed for the development and continued growth of the Department and its personnel.  Supervise and mentor the Foreclosure or Default Documents staff.  Manage network of nationwide foreclosure attorneys. Ensure quality controls are in place to reduce risk of internal and or external audit findings.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Supervise staff, including but not limited to participating in hiring decisions, training, performance reviews, assigning and prioritization of duties.

  • Create and administer departmental strategies to meet performance goals and KPIs though a blend of internal process management of external vendor oversight

  • Create, develop and analyze all daily, weekly and monthly trend/exception reporting requirements within their area of responsibility.

  • Subject matter expert for escalation and direction on more complex foreclosure and document issues.

  • Administer  Associate and Team Lead development plans

  • Stay current with new state specific and federal laws and processes with regard to Foreclosure and relating documents

  • Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job


  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.

  • Strong problem-solving ability, data collection, analysis and presentation experience.

  • Gather and analyze information and develops alternative solutions.

  • Principles and practices of personnel management and supervision.

  • Consistently demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.

  • Knowledge of LoanServ and LPS Desktop

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years  of experience in default mortgage servicing, foreclosure processes preferred.

  • National experience with foreclosures preferred.

  • 2+ years of supervision or management experience preferred.

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in default administration or mortgage servicing preferred

Language Ability

Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

Mathematical Ability

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
