Under the guidance of and in coordination withthe Events Marketing Manager and other directors on the US Shared Servicesteam, the Events Marketing Coordinator implements B2B events at a segment andbusiness level to help the organization realize its business objectives. The position requires a hands-on,collaborative and flexible approach with the ability to oversee and executemultiple projects simultaneously while driving aggressive deadlines. The role is best suited for a high-achieverwith proven ability to contribute individually (through hands-on execution) aswell as part of a results-focused department.
The Event Marketing Coordinator oversees allaspects of event planning and execution for Computershare-hosted and industrytradeshows and events. Primaryresponsibilities for this position include meetings with internal partners towork out event details, research and book locations, food, entertainment and tocoordinate activities with tradeshow vendors.
Execute event marketing programs, aligned withbusiness objectives, working together with US Marketing team and EventsMarketing Manager.
Plan all event aspects, such as venue, food,entertainment, event invitations and booth design, staffing
Create and present event proposals to USIssuer Services Marketing team, anticipating and planning for differentscenarios.
Communicate with marketing team to createeffective promotions, per strategy, for events.
Create and maintain a working relationshipwith event vendors and venues.
Create online registration, emails andregistration reports as needed.
Manage and oversee events on the day of,including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up,communicating with staff, and organizing vendors, and managing take-down.
Execute post-event process: ensure timelycommunication with event participants, produce event recaps and insights forfuture participation.
Close out of all expenses and report finalbudget numbers to invested parties.
Other duties or tasks as assigned bymanagement.
Ability to effectively communicate and workwith virtual cross functional team in support of achieving business goals andobjectives
Strong communication skills, and the abilityto present event ideas and plans to internal partners and vendors.
Self-motivated, driven to deliver results withminimal supervision
Adaptive and diplomatic- must be able to applyflexibility when needed while ensuring that project objectives are completedalong planned timelines.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliverconsistently excellent performance in an ever-changing environment along withexcellent time management skills.
Analytical acumen to view and interpretresults and drive data-driven thinking
CVent or other online registration system anddatabase system proficiency.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-yearcollege or university; or two to three years related experience and/ortraining; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Degree in event planning or marketing, eventmarketing experience preferred.
2-3 years experience working in an EventPlanner or Marketing position, preferably with a public company comparable toComputershare.
General knowledge of financial and investmentservices market a plus
It is expected that this position may includetravel up to 20% of the time. This issubject to change based on many factors, including business needs.
LanguageAbilityStrong English written and oral communication
