AROLE YOU WILL LOVE
An Assistant Team Leaderwithin the Special Issuance Group works in a deadline-driven environment wheretasks need to be completed timely with high quality and reliability. There are specific service level standardsrelated to the review and processing of the transactions supported within theUnit. Failure to complete transactionstimely and accurately could result in a financial impact to the organizationand/or the client.
The Assistant TeamLeader position would also be responsible for partnering with the Team Leaderin managing the day to day activities ofClient related transactions and workflow queues for a team of TransactionsProcessors, Lead Processors and Client Specialists. The ATL would alsointerface daily with internal and external business partners in order toresolve escalated or time sensitive transactions. From time to time would also be ask to reviewand process general, sensitive and complex transactions.
The SEC, Stock Markets,the Depositary Trust Company along with client service level standards willdictate deadlines for completing transactions in a timely manner.
Administration of Loan Transferactivities, which includes but is not limited to the following:
Process and/or review routine andcomplex data entry transactions along with communicating directly with clients,brokers, or relationship managers within established productivity and qualitystandards.
Involved is the research, follow up andresolution of stakeholder inquiries and deficient transactions presented forprocessing.
Ensure that the team is supported incarrying out their duties; provide on-the-job training, coaching and mentoringof team members in order to improve performance and effectiveness.
Support the team by responding to theday-to-day activities generated by stakeholders in relation to the businessunit.
Research and resolve any out of balanceconditions with the Reconciliation Team.
Ensure all desk top operating procedureshave been modified and communicated.
Escalate complex inquires as needed perdocumented procedures to the Team Leader.
Ability to work overtime during peakvolumes to assist in meeting our clients service level agreements.
Assist the Team Leader with various daily operational tasks and/orspecial projects as needed.
Other duties or tasks as assigned bymanagement.

Associate's degree (A. A.) orequivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one yearrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
Proficient in Excel.
Good communication and interpersonalskills.
Attention to detail with good timemanagement skills.
Ability to handle multiple taskssimultaneously.
Ability toread/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; writesimple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/smallgroup situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and tomultiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money andweight measurement, volume, and distance.
