VP Relationship Management Team Leader, Stock Plan Services

In this role you will lead of teamof Relationship Managers responsible for developing strong relationshipswith Mid and Emerging segment Stock Plan Services (SPS) clients and buildinginternal working relationships with Fidelity personnel in support of servicedelivery.

The Expertise We'reLooking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Ideally 5 years of managerial experience preferred, including decision making, business judgment, leadership, and strategic management.
  • 5 years of experience in equity plan servicing and/or client relationship management.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 90 days of employment

The Purpose ofYour Role

The Vice President,Group Manager, Relationship Management is responsible for managing a team ofRelationship Managers. This role is responsible for strategic oversight ofhis/her team's portfolio of equity admin corporate clients and achieving thekey goals of client satisfaction and retention. The VP has supervisoryprincipal responsibilities. This role is also responsible for leading SPSinitiatives and projects.

  • Leading your team in achieving a comprehensive relationship management strategy for his/her book of business.
  • Accountable for leading your team to drive client satisfaction and retention. This includes active performance management of all MDs by monitoring key measures and regular in-person observations to ensure development of strong client relationships, execution of client business planning and service delivery.
  • Your ability to work collectively and collaboratively with internal business partners and members of the Fidelity senior leadership team to ensure overall service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Working with the MDs, he/she proactively identifies and escalates competitive at-risk situations driving rebid and retention efforts.
  • The VP is responsible for leading MDs to enhance the profitability and growth of existing clients, which includes contract negotiations, the adoption of cost reducing products and services, increasing partnership with PI organization, and generating referrals for additional SPS and Workplace business.
  • Managing a team budget for travel and other expenses.
  • Responsible for associate recruitment and hiring, development, performance evaluation, and compensation planning. A significant component of the job is to coach and develop associates to ensure effective representation of Fidelity. As a registered principal, the VP must supervise and monitor the team in accordance with the FINRA regulations
  • Accountable for the assigned clients and territory. This includes problem resolution in conjunction with RMs to produce a satisfactory outcome. The VP is a point of escalation and problem resolution between the RM and supporting organizations.
