Technical Lead, VP - Total Collateral
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the technical design of all aspects of the Collateral Management Technology platform
  • Promote an agile model of development and support. Deliver high quality technical solutions for loosely defined, ever evolving requirements under extremely compressed timeframes
  • Establish architectural standards and guidelines and ensure their conformance by developers
  • Perform periodic code reviews with focus on functional integrity as well as extensibility and scalability
  • Evaluate all emerging technologies and drive the adoption of applicable technologies within the group
  • Liaise with our business partners, operations groups and developers to craft world class technical solutions
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in or higher in computer science or related field
  • Proven track record of executing large, technically challenging projects
  • Strong front office Global Markets FX and eFX business knowledge.
  • Experience in translating business requirements from into elegant technical solutions
  • 10-15+ years experience in financial services technology, preferably: capital markets
  • Experience with technology standards like Cassandra, Kafka, Open Source Technologies, Java, Oracle, HTML5.
  • Complete knowledge of the software development lifecycle for iterative, agile, and traditional approaches
  • Experience with continuous integration and version control toolkits
  • Familiarity with BigData technologies (Hadoop EcoSystem, Spark) and Machine Learning toolkits is desired
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to successfully influence in a complex organizational with multiple, competing stakeholders
  • Demonstrate 'Risk Excellence' culture in your behavior
