POSITION

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Workday Reports and Security Engineer to contribute to a wide variety of strategic initiatives in the HCM and Financials areas. Wellington's Human Resources and Financials teams are updating and transforming their business processes and technology platforms in areas such as core HCM, benefits, compensation, recruiting, talent management, banking and settlement, general ledger, accounts payable, procurement, projects, and expense management.

The Reports and Security Engineer will be responsible for creating complex reports, including composite reporting and dashboard development in Workday across the Workday platform. In addition, this resource will be responsible for the overall security framework as Workday's security administrator, the candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter with excellent technical development, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Report Administration

  • Design, develop and implement standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports and dashboards.
  • Create and maintain complex calculated fields and custom objects.
  • Collaborate with end users to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing and validation.
  • Provide support to end users on standardized and ad hoc reports.
  • Create and maintain report administration standards (naming conventions, report sharing standards).
  • Schedule reports, create alerts, charts and dashboards.
  • Comprehend business reporting requirements, analyze Workday's fit or gap capabilities, and set expectations with end users.


System Administration
  • Formalize the security governance framework including creating internal policies for security access to various data elements, approval workflows, and provide complete transparency into our security role profiles (including both users and role based).
  • Create, maintain and execute on all security components including maintenance of domain security policies, and segregation of duties.
  • Identify, recommend and track opportunities for process and operational improvements as related to Workday Security.
  • Support existing security configurations including providing routine security administration and troubleshooting security related issues.
  • Configure and maintaining user based, role based, intersection and segmented security groups.
  • Set up integration security, creating ISU, SFTP set up, etc.
  • Follow best practices around security and perform regular audits to ensure system and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot complex security issues in a production environment with tight resolution timeframes.


General
  • Actively research best practices and new functionality (bi-annual) enhancements within Workday and develop recommendations for adoption and application of that functionality
  • Create and maintain appropriate technical specifications and support documentation
  • Interface with the business team to review business requirements, call out ambiguities, and design solutions to meet those requirements.


Qualifications:
  • Advanced Workday knowledge of object relationships (including Report Data Source, Primary Business Objects, and Related Business Objects).
  • Experience working in a capacity of Security Administrator/Security Configurator in prior role(s) .
  • Understanding of Workday security framework including Business process and domain security policies.
  • Workday reporting experience required (standard, advanced, matrix and composite), with BIRT report development experience preferred.
  • Experience deploying Workday functionality to mobile devices considered a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism and customer focus.
  • Ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced environment and effectively collaborating across teams.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with a high level attention to detail.
  • 2+ years integrating SaaS/Cloud-based ERP systems with other third-party service providers
  • Must be experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
