Job Description The Salesforce Business Analyst will work closely with members of our Global Distribution team in directing the definition, planning, design and implementation of global strategies, business initiatives and efficiencies relative to Salesforce. The main initiative of this team is to focus on incorporating data, Salesforce.com functionality, customer-based analysis and analytical insight in an effort to improve our strategic and tactical approach to Distribution effectiveness.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • With a comprehensive understanding of Global Distribution's business processes, systems, workflows and key data requirements globally, act as the business lead in coordinating the development and implementation of major systems related initiatives affecting the Global Distribution business and processes.
  • Gathers business requirements on future state improvements, workflows, data and tools from each business area.
  • Helps facilitate active user groups to drive the ongoing, two-way engagement of business users to define, adopt and enhance the processes and functionality of Salesforce.com platform. Proactively identify areas for improvement and introduce innovative recommendations, factoring in customer needs, external approaches, data analytics, as well as industry best practices.
  • Advocate and collaborate to ensure Global Distribution's requirements are implemented effectively through salesforce; communicate the status of initiatives with Global Distribution.
  • Drive the definition, development and implementation of workflows and procedures around new systems initiatives. Ensure new processes are developed, communicated and institutionalized across Global Distribution teams.
  • Monitor adoption and usage metrics and collaborate with internal training group to modify training program based on need prioritization.
  • Conducts analysis, coordinates decision making, and informs Salesforce Business Manager when issues arise that impact the needs of the business users.
  • Assist in defining new workflows, role changes and work for each business area to gain support on solutions.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback from each business area.
  • Works closely with business readiness team to ensure training materials necessary for new systems and processes.
  • Helps to identify areas where new processes or technologies can be leveraged to create enhanced customer service or improved operational efficiencies. Understands the technology used by Global Distribution to ensure all project and/or process solutions represent the best possible use of technology.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Salesforce Certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years' related experience in a client service or distribution capacity and preferably 3 plus years in Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on a wide array of business projects as well as interact with all levels of MFS management.
  • Ability to align functional expertise and solutions to meet the changing demands of clients, competitors and regulators Basic technical competence of relevant Financial Service technologies.
  • Ability to assess business needs and assist in the introduction of new solutions or modifications of existing solutions as needed.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills. Experience designing and delivering presentations and training to diverse audiences, including business groups and global client- facing teams.
