    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Company and Bank’s Director of Risk Analytics, the incumbent will drive the production of a core group of critical financial reports viewed by Executives and the Board of Directors. The Risk Analyst will assist in the development of new report views in response to changing financial and economic conditions and subsequent impacts on loan portfolios and other financial characteristics of the Bank.  In addition to standard periodic reporting, the Risk Analyst will help generate ad-hoc report views at the request of senior management.   The Risk Analyst may also assist in the development of new enterprise risk analytics and generate data analyses.    The position will also require a high degree of interaction with senior risk officers and the management teams of our various bank and non-bank businesses to both gather and communicate information vital to risk analytics and reporting.   The role is a dynamic mix of quantitative and qualitative responsibilities. 

    Key areas of responsibility will include:

    • Assuming production responsibility for key elements of the two major reports originated by the Risk Group. The individual will work in concert with the Chief Risk Officer and direct reports in both the production and formatting dimensions of the reports.
    • Working with above-noted staff to develop new report views to further illuminate the risk dimensions in the Bank and Holding Company.
    • Work with the Director of Analytics to maintain and enhance substantial MIS reporting infrastructure used to generate the reports. These include complex excel-based platforms and the integration of Bank source systems that provide loan and financial data.
    • Actively participate in a range of on-going initiatives to develop systems and processes for the gathering, storage and provisioning of Bank data used for critical reporting and risk analytics. This includes enhancing existing loan data to improve credit risk modeling.
    Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related preferred
    • Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of programs including but not limited to: MS Excel, MS Access, MS Visio and/or Other Stat/Math Programs
