We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join our exciting Mortgage Advisory Services team in Lexington, MA.

The Quality Control Analyst will review closed mortgage files for compliance with industry guidelines of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD. Other responsibilities include:

  • Mortgage Loan Review: Examine closed mortgage loan file documents to ascertain compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and HUD underwriting guidelines, or clients internal or investor guidelines as necessary. QC Review steps include assessment of credit and underwriting documentation, as well as examination of credit reports and other investigative verifications performed. Record findings using proprietary systems. Analysts may also complete Pre-Closing QC evaluations and Servicing QC evaluations as necessary.
  • Client Service: Assists clients with questions related to closing and compliance.
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows, MS Office products, Adobe, and internet applications is necessary.

The ideal candidate looks like:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years as a mortgage underwriter.
  • Certifications/Licenses: none.
