The Product Strategist is the product and business champion for Acadian’s range of equity investment strategies. She/he works closely with our equity investment teams, global client groups and business colleagues around the firm to implement our strategic vision and drive the growth of our equity business. The Product Strategist contributes to client growth and retention by assessing business opportunities and leading the development necessary to capture them. This work is done in conjunction with all teams at Acadian to develop new offerings, or retool existing ones. The Product Strategist acts as a subject matter expert for colleagues, clients and consultants.


  • Define the positioning and target market for Acadian’s different equity investment strategies
  • Identify, establish, and develop a set of growth goals and actions to support these goals (e.g. develop materials, product training, new vehicles, change in positioning, etc.)
  • Manage the ongoing execution and enhancement of the communication strategy in partnership with the investment, client-facing, client advisory and digital marketing teams. Contribute to the development of materials as required (e.g. white papers, market research, pitch book, fact-sheets, etc.)
  • Partner with the investment and client teams to develop and deliver regular product trainings
  • Assess, monitor and develop Acadian’s range of investment vehicle options (e.g. LLC, CIT, UCITS)
  • Stay abreast of Acadian’s competitive positioning in terms of offering, performance, fees and vehicles



  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience, with deep capital markets and investment knowledge, in a relevant capacity such as managing money or working on the consulting side of asset management 
  • Advanced degree in a related field and/or CFA, strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of quantitative equity investments and systematic investment processes
  • Strong interest and knowledge in ESG investment issues
  • Strong knowledge of investment strategies, institutional clients and product vehicles
  • Ability to assimilate complex and varied market data into a timely case for product development

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, including experience with presentation development and delivery
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, collegiality and the ability to excel in a self-starting environment
  • Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams to achieve mutual goals
