Oracle Application Developer-Application Dev/Maintenance (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston , Massachusetts): Will be part of the State Street Financial Information Delivery team, which is focused on delivering custom solutions and implementing many vendor products to support our Corporate Finance and Global Procurement business units. Specific duties of the position include: meeting with business users across multiple domains and translating their business requirements into technical designs encompassing multiple technical platforms; supporting our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Suite of applications and working with internal team members and third-party consulting partners on specific projects; designing dimensional Essbase models for both ASO and BSO applications and converting BSO to ASO model; supporting the existing Oracle HFM and FDMEE implementation; integrating relational sources into EPM applications; providing technical direction on several EPM Applications including HFM, FDMEE, HPCM, DRM, and FCM and design/build integrations across these applications; documenting designs to capture high level data flows, facts, and dimensions; working with vendors to resolve issues and manage patching across the EPM Suite and performing infrastructure oversight for EPM Suite; supporting and extending our EPM development framework making use of enterprise scheduling and custom scripting framework; supporting Smartview and Hyperion Financial Reporting; providing guidance on Oracle EPM usage to other development team members; developing an automated migration process of artifacts across environments from Dev to UAT to Production; and tuning across the EPM platform (Database SQL Tuning Essbase Server Web Server). Telecommuting is permitted per Company policy.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; and 5 years of experience working with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management software. Alternatively, Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; and 3 years of experience working with Oracle Enterprise Performance Management software.
Must have: Demonstrated experience leading the design and development of Essbase BSO and ASO applications; demonstrated experience with calc rules solve order report scripting and MDX; demonstrated experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and FDMEE; demonstrated experience with Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management (HPCM); demonstrated experience with HFM Rule development and integrating HFM results with downstream applications; proven solid knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL Tuning including with Oracle 11g/12c databases; demonstrated experience working on structured Data Warehousing projects including design and development (Dimensional Modelling); and experience in Unix and Windows scripting, Agile framework.
