The US Financial Intermediary Group (US FIG) seeks a Marketing Coordinator to support the sales and marketing efforts of the Marketing Specialist and Director of Intermediary Distribution.   The Intermediary Distribution team within US FIG is focused on Wellington Management's relationships and activities with key distributors (e.g., broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and private banks). The team also develops marketing content to support the sales of our subadvised funds and collaborates with our subadvisory clients on broader sales and marketing initiatives. As the key point person for the team's sales efforts, the Marketing Coordinator independently fields a high volume of marketing-related requests annually and is responsible for supporting all top line prospecting activity. This is a support role that reports to the Administrative Manager in the Global Relationship Group.


Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Meeting coordination including Outlook meeting requests, conference room booking, security clearance, catering
  • Presentation preparation including editing, collating and distributing materials
  • Interface with external clients to coordinate incoming requests for sales and marketing activity
  • Database maintenance, including contact information and mailing lists
  • Diligent coverage of telephone lines
  • Calendar management
  • Travel coordination including itinerary, transportation, hotel
  • Expense reimbursement
  • Coordinating and sending mass mailings; conference and event invitation mailings
  • Assistance with preparation and distribution of monthly and quarterly client reporting materials, using various internal data systems
  • File Maintenance
  • Assistance with a variety of department and team projects, as well as group outings

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong service orientation; reliable, consistent, proactive
  • Ability to  work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, prioritizing effectively
  • Attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Solid work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to use good business judgment and maintain confidentiality
