Basic Purpose:

The Digital Media Marketing Assistant is responsible for working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across business units, external agency partners and media relationships to ensure timely and effective delivery of Eaton Vances brand and campaigns in the advertising and social media space. This position requires basic knowledge of digital marketing channels and operations including display, content, social, and paid search marketing. Knowledge of marketing analytics is also required. The individual in this role will need to be adaptable to a rapidly evolving environment and able to manage multiple projects and priorities with a sense of urgency and an acute attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient execution of advertising operations by working closely with internal teams and external agency partners on media planning, implementation and campaign launches.
  • Help develop effective advertising creative by consolidating stakeholder feedback, guiding creative through compliance approvals, and deploying to ad ops teams.
  • Monitor and socialize performance metrics / KPIs by analyzing website trends and media campaign performance.
    • Create unique media tracking codes to track post-click activity for digital advertising campaigns.
    • Develop a new reporting cadence for international campaigns and websites.
  • Develop campaign landing pages within our CMS platforms and ensure appropriate analytics tagging and tracking is implemented for new pages.
  • Maintain social media calendar including scheduling and QA.
  • Manage content distribution and amplification efforts of thought leadership through social media channels and 3rd party content opportunities.
  • Support social strategy evolution and influencer onboarding.
  • Support new paid media initiatives for EVMI and PPA.

Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field or equivalent business experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with digital media, marketing and analytics
  • Ability to prioritize workload, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and meet demanding deadlines
  • Critical thinking ability and basic data analysis; experience pulling trends and insights from large data sets
  • Strong familiarity with online media and advertising, including SEM, SEO, and social media (CMS platform experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of marketing measurement and analytics; experience with Adobe Analytics preferred
  • Knowledge of HTML and Web Content Management Systems
  • Demonstrated project management skills and keen attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with cross-enterprise stakeholders at all levels of individuals within the organization
