The Legal and Enterprise Risk Group seeks a Legal & Enterprise Risk Assistant to support several professionals including attorneys and risk managers. The person will work closely with other members of the L&ER Assistant team to provide assistance and administrative support across Legal & Enterprise Risk.

  • Diligent coverage of telephones, calendars, mail and files;
  • Calendar management, including logistical coordination of internal and external meetings;
  • Coordination of domestic & international travel logistics, arrangements & itineraries;
  • Handling daily mail, file systems, expense reporting;
  • Assistance with production of correspondence and other documents including legal agreements;
  • Assistance with a variety of departmental projects and processes;
  • Providing cross-coverage and back-up support to other department assistants as needed;
  • Perform routine daily tasks in one or more of the following areas:
    • Presentation preparation including editing and distributing materials
    • Creating and maintaining SharePoint / Teams sites and team metrics
    • Legal matter management and reporting
    • Compliance and Code of Ethics related support
  • Undergraduate degree preferred; minimum 1-2 years total work experience. Investment industry and/or professional services background will be viewed favorably.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Strong detail-orientation and work quality
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Outstanding service orientation, a positive attitude and a sense of humor
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work under deadlines and to accommodate last-minutes changes
  • Typical work schedule is 8 am - 5 pm, though flexibility and overtime may be required by business circumstances
