The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Consumer & Business Banking (CBB) and working side by side with the CBB Senior leadership team, the Head of CBB Transformation will drive the coordination and execution of key strategic business initiatives, oversee the significant transformation work and play a key role in providing end-to-end thought leadership specific to the overall risk and control agenda.  As an executive level adviser, you will oversee the strategic business priorities from development to execution. This role requires a proven leader and culture carrier capable of building deep relationships across the organization to better enable the leadership team to work collaboratively, stay focused on the strategic priorities, make rapid, thoughtful decisions and execute flawlessly.

Role Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate the CBB strategy and priority development at the leadership team level.
  • Drive business priorities and partner with strategic teams across SBNA, Technology, and SC.
  • Monitor progress of key initiatives and ensure that company commitments are being executed.
  • Frame decisions for the leadership team with compelling analytics, critical thinking, and recommendations.
  • Drive problem resolution and deal with day-to-day issues to optimize team performance and remove barriers, enabling the Head of Consumer & Business Banking to focus on companywide strategic initiatives.
  • Act as an extension of the Head of CBB to become a trusted partner to executives, providing insights on the organizations operations, key decisions, and other business areas.
  • Set agenda for the CBB leadership team meetings, strategic off-sites, all hands calls, and other firm wide initiatives
  • Build and develop relationships outside of CBB to influence change and/or decision making in Operations, Risk & Compliance, Chief Strategy Office and Technology
  • Institute annual routines and standards for leadership team deliverables.

Key Stakeholder Relationships

· Strong partnership with senior leadership teams across Operations, Technology and the Chief Strategy Office.

· Partner with Internal/External Audit, Risk (FLOD/SLOD) and control functions to monitor and evaluate ongoing effectiveness across CBB.

Work with regulatory functions to stay well-informed of industry best practices.



oBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

oMBA preferred


o10-15 years of experience in financial services organization, preferably banking.

oProven track record of partnering with Senior leaders and driving results

oExperience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments

oLarge scale project management experience

oProcess re-engineering experience with a willingness to roll up sleeves

oStrong analytical capabilities to tell a story with data

oExcellent written and verbal presentation skills
