Global Head of Information Management and Strategy Execution
In this role you will be responsible for providing comprehensive information strategy and data management services globally that ensure high quality and timely delivery, control, efficiency and support that enable seamless support of the asset management business teams and clients. Responsibilities
Proactively champion data as a strategic asset. Become a key contributor/leader of the firms' Information Strategy roadmap, development and execution, and cross-functional data governance and liaise with corporate data governance and risk committees as needed. Evaluate the CTI project portfolio for impacts and opportunities related to our planned target state.
Contribute and drive execution of a multi-year target operating model for data collection, maintenance and dissemination (consumption), while leveraging technology to make the processes and delivery more efficient while achieving the highest quality service delivery.
Support data activities across the entire organization and evolve our information management organization to take on a larger role as a central provider of enterprise data and ecosystem support for other business units. Establish data policies, procedures, structures, roles, best practices and responsibilities for data (i.e. gathering, storage, retrieval, analysis, and reporting).
Build strong, highly engaged global teams with a culture of stakeholder support and a focus on maintaining key controls. Maintain relevant expertise locally while leveraging cost-effective locations to manage efficiency goals.
Maintain an industry presence and knowledge of industry developments, trends and technology and recommends improvements to Columbia Threadneedle capabilities, efficiency and competitive advantages. Required Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree or 15+ years of relevant work experience
-Expertise with Investment Management Institutional and mutual fund client reporting requirements and expectations
-10+ years experience in asset management / securities business, preferably in operations, data or technology
-Deep understanding of data types, reporting requirements in the asset management business
-Proven ability to transform chaos into order to improve quality, efficiency and customer service Preferred Qualifications
