You will be responsible for BCG’s internal and external financial reporting. You will be responsible for setting standards of reporting to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. You and your team will provide consolidation expertise as well as accounting and internal controls oversight to more than 90 offices globally.

~~Responsibilities include:
• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes ensuring the results are complete and accurate and delivered timely to key stakeholders
• Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP on a quarterly and annual basis
• Provide variance analysis and commentary on balance sheet and income statement changes on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Oversee the global consolidation process ensuring offices submit financial data in accordance with deadlines and that appropriate reviews of information submitted are performed
• Lead direct reports including professional development, performance appraisals and employee counseling.  Assign project work and reviews workload for all direct reports.  Lead staff by establishing goals that will increase knowledge and skill levels, and by delegating tasks commensurate with skill level
• Work with other colleagues, including the Risk team and the Global Field Operations team, to design and implement processes and internal controls to monitor compliance with global policies and procedures
• Oversee the annual audit process including coordination with external auditors to provide audit supporting documentation and technical accounting memos on complex transactions
• Assist the Global Accounting and Controlling Director with preparing information necessary for Audit and Risk Committee meetings
• Communicate and collaborate routinely with finance colleagues at the global, regional and local levels, providing direction related to key processes, policies and internal controls.  Shares best practices and information related to changes that have a global impact.  Provide ongoing training and knowledge sharing throughout the year

~~Your profile

• 12 years of accounting – related work experience, including US GAAP accounting, consolidations of financial data, management and external financial reporting
• CPA/Chartered Accountant status required, MBA is a plus
• Minimum of 6  years previous experience working in a public accounting firm
• At least 5+years of management experience at a large multinational company
• Previous experience working within a multi-currency environment
• Extensive experience with the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, knowledge of IFRS and other global accounting standards is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and comfortable interacting with peer group and senior leadership
• Strong leadership skills; ability to lead a team of direct reports,  cross functional projects and finance teams globally
• Strong knowledge of financial systems including general ledger and consolidation software applications – Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management preferred, SAP Business Objects a plus
