FX Emerging Markets/Forwards Trader, VP
Who we are looking for
An Emerging Markets Trader to join our Boston based FX Trading team. The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience on a principal market making desk, eFX EM experience preferred. Traders are expected to be able to synthesize trading ideas and commentary from economic data, quantitative data, technical indicators, and research. All members of the FX team are expected to work collaboratively with the Sales team and the eFX team to increase client interactions and grow revenues.

What you will be responsible for
As FX Emerging Markets/Forwards Trader you will:
  • Quote and manage direct/non-machine qualifying voice order business from Sales
  • Assist in managing eFX EM exposures
  • Communicate efficiently with a global team to share ideas and color
  • Continuously monitor trading positions and risk limits and ensure all positions are accounted for and booked properly
  • Manage spot and interest rate risk positions within proper market and credit risk guidelines
  • Conduct quantitative analysis to foster trading strategies and improve client relationships
  • Review reports to ensure accuracy of risk and profitability measures

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in relevant field
  • 3-5 years appropriate FX or related market making experience
  • Data science skills preferred
