Database Associate I, Private Equity Services
Global Fund Banking ("GFB") Database Associate is responsible for maintaining the overall data quality of the internal Limited Partner "LP" database used to track collateral for loans to private equity and venture capital funds. Core responsibilities include entity matching, qualitative researching using tools like Pitchbook, and running regular data quality checks to ensure a consistent data approach. Candidate is expecting to work directly with GFB Portfolio Management team on completing LP analysis and will be relied on to prepare reports which will be used directly in loan approvals. Candidate must be self-motivated, have an extraordinary attention to detail, and must be both intellectually curious and eager to learn quickly.

Essential Functions:
  • Compare multiple data sets to one another to ensure unique entity accuracy and avoid duplicative entities
  • Support Portfolio Management team by providing reports used directly in loan approvals.
  • Perform ongoing data quality exercises to ensue data set accuracy.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management summarizing specific data subsets
  • Utilizes decision making and independent judgement in performing data set comparisons, entity management, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
  • Utilizes decision making and independent judgement for building increasing levels of expertise and sharing that with colleagues

Required Education and Experience:
