Corporate Systems Production Support Lead, VP
Who we are looking for
The role of the Production Support Lead, Corporate Systems is to provide leadership for developing and implementing a production support and service delivery model for State Street Corporate Systems. The Head of Corporate Systems Production Support reports to the Corporate Systems Strategy and Operations Managing Director and may have Vice President / Assistant Vice President level regional production support leads based in Boston, India, China and other global locations. This role will work closely with the Global Head of IT Production Support and ensure Corporate Systems production support aligns to global production support standards within Global Technology Services (GTS) production support model.

What you will be responsible for
As Production Support Lead you will
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Systems and GTS IT production support staff globally to develop and achieve buy-in for the target state production support / service delivery operating model.
  • Design, monitor and ensure high quality service delivery through development and oversight of intra-group and third party service level agreements with the Business.
  • Oversee root cause analysis to ensure accuracy and enough granularity so that systems resiliency and stability optimization steps can be identified and actioned.
  • Develop current and target state metrics that can be used to measure the success of the Corporate Systems production support organization.
  • Jointly supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of all production support staff in accordance with corporate performance, budgetary objectives and personnel policies.
  • Ensure that the business impacts of Corporate Systems incidents are contextualized and communicated to end users and business personnel in a way that they can clearly understand how an incident affects them and their business, enables them to take appropriate remediation steps and is provided in an appropriate frequency.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math; Masters preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Significant experience leading production support and end to end technology environments, including software, hardware, network and other components.
  • Experience designing and leading initiatives to implement support for enterprise-level business applications.
  • Experience creating and leading geographically dispersed technology delivery or operations teams.
