Client Solutions Squad Member, Wealth Management - Boston

The Expertise We're Looking For

  • Minimum of bachelors or equivalent with 10-12 years of experience or Masters with 8-10 years of experience.
  • Experiences on a team in agile environments
  • A proven track record of effective work on teams to deliver best in class client experiences
  • Strong business knowledge associated with Wealth Management and Financial Services, specifically with products and solutions for high net worth individuals, and with financial planning tools and advisory offerings.
  • Experience working with and understanding the needs of customers or clients (internal or external)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a client centric, fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Commitment to PI's better way of working through greater collaboration (Agile)

The Purpose of Your Role

Lead the conception, development, implementation, and ongoing support of wealth planning, managed investment solutions, or data driven investment product experiences for Personal Investing clients. Define customer solution requirements for either new capabilities, or enhancements to existing Fidelity customer experiences, web presence, communications, service models and platforms. Drive or support key aspects of the development life cycle including business case development, business requirements, product design, and implementation.

You will be expected to provide subject matter expertise in the following areas:
  • Investment products and advisory offerings
  • Financial planning / wealth management
  • Advisor/associate experience and role of the advisor
  • Financial services industry
  • Business platforms, processes and product development methodologies

You will be responsible for identifying Client Needs and Wants by:
  • Participating in the prioritization of the squad work (in partnership with Squad Leader) to deliver customer value based on an understanding of business subject matter areas and client needs
  • Helping to conduct key customer research and analysis to prioritize squad work
  • Developing client and service associate journey maps and design prototypes

You will develop Client Solutions by:
  • Leading key areas of squad work (as determined by Squad Leader)
  • Participating and leading solution brainstorming (in partnership with squad), and help support an environment of continual innovation on the squad
  • Conducting financial analysis (as part of squad) to determine total cost of ownership for various client solutions
  • Gaining understanding of Fidelity's and competitors' human (advisor) and digital end to end client experiences and the value they bring to clients
  • Documenting customer needs (i.e. write Agile stories)

You will implement and measure Client Solutions by:
  • Participating in and leading readiness and roll out activities for clients and Fidelity associates
  • Performing business testing focused on the overall client and service associate experience
  • Developing key squad level metrics to measure the effectiveness of the solution hypotheses
  • Implementing, measuring, and utilizing metrics to aid in identifying improvement opportunities
