The Client Reporting Analyst will work in the Due Diligence Services team ("DDS") within the Client Services organization.  The Client Reporting Analyst will primarily serve as a resource for relationship teams and clients on mutual fund compliance and regulatory topics as well as requirements that have client reporting implications. The Client Reporting Analyst will work closely with the existing members of the DDS team, the US Financial Intermediaries Group (USFIG), Legal and Compliance, Trading, and others to make sure mutual fund compliance and other regulatory reports and requests are appropriate, well understood, and completed in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, they will interact directly with clients as the primary compliance reporting contact. 


Key responsibilities include:

   Prepare compliance and regulatory reports primarily for US mutual fund clients and handle client requests on these topics

   Provide assistance to USFIG on compliance and regulatory issues

   Coordinate completion of compliance related reporting from internal departments

   Coordinate completion of due diligence questionnaires and meetings for mutual fund clients

   Help to ensure consistency and best practice across our compliance and regulatory reporting to clients

   Proactively identify needed enhancements for reports and systems and assist in cross-functional efforts to develop solutions

   Oversee the coordinated receipt of compliance related reporting from internal departments



The successful candidate for this position will have experience in US mutual fund regulations as well as strong academic credentials, demonstrated analytical and writing skills, effective communications skills, and a high level of attention to detail. While the Analyst will work in a team-oriented environment, many projects will be self-directed, often under intense deadline pressures. Solid understanding of financial assets and financial markets will also be helpful. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of relevant professional work experience, preferably in a mutual fund client reporting, compliance, operational due diligence or subadvisor oversight or fund accounting setting.   The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.  

Additional skills:

   Foundational knowledge of the mutual fund industry and the Investment Company Act of 1940

   Experience with Windows, Outlook and Excel;   the ability to write macros/pivot tables is a plus

   Excellent verbal and written communication skills

   Ability to multi-task while delivering high quality

   Ability to easily build internal and external working relationships
