This role will support a team of experienced Advisorsin the Sales and Advisory process. Our Advisors work with the most exciting andfastest growing companies in the innovation sector. We consult with theseclients on topics ranging from simple international payments, to devisingefficient global treasury banking structures, to implementing complex foreigncurrency hedging structures. This is a career building position on our advisoryteam and opportunity to work with experienced Advisors to learn the businessfrom the ground up.
FX Sales Associates provide ongoing support tomultiple FX Sales Advisors in meeting preparation, proposal drafting,competitive analysis and trend identification, client sales and nurturingactivities. Internal and external follow up associated with the aforementionedactivities.
Sales Activities: Abilityto think critically and problem-solve in real time are key to success in thisrole. FX Sales Associate will conduct research, monitor trends and developmentsin financial services industry and in customers businesses and recommendsolutions and product enhancements that can generate fee income to the Bank anddeepen client relationships. FX Sales Associate will advise clients onappropriate products and services and are required to exercise independentdiscretion and judgment.
Business Development: Leverageinternal and external reports to identify new sales opportunities whileanalyzing client activity. Requires advanced analytical and MS excel skills.
Special Projects: Workwith Product Management, Marketing, Relationship Sales and other internalpartners on developing new product capabilities and designing innovativepromotional materials and sophisticated product campaigns to achieve greaterexternal visibility for various products and ultimately increase new clientacquisition/client retention. Requires creativity/independent thinking andknowledge of our products and services.
Meeting preparation: Puttogether pre-call packages (company info, relevant research / filings,management bios, CRM/SVB Online info, current SVB relationship summary, etc.).
Deal Execution: Follow up ondeals referred to FX Traders; Update Product Advisors/Relationship Managers ondeal status. Tracking of Credit approvals and determination of appropriatecollateral levels to mitigate risk. Tracking of all FX documentation etc.
Information Management: Developclient reports by team, by product and other relevant information; analyzeclient activity and identify trends and opportunities. Requires analyticalskills.

Some client facing sales or customer service orientedexperience is desirable, but not required.Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 2-4 years experience
Experience working in a financial services /commercial banking environment a plus.
An interest in the Financial Markets and GlobalPayments
Ability to work independently and prioritize onesschedule.
Ability to compile, analyze and evaluate informationto formulate conclusions and recommend actions.
Ability to lead projects, collaborate and workeffectively with all areas of the Bank.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Proficient in working with MS Excel, PowerPoint, andWord.
This position provides sales support to assigned FXSales Advisors. The FX Sales Associate will perform mostly non-routine dutiesand as a result the position requires sound judgment and analysis on allinformation, as well as regular client interactions.
