Job Posting Description
Marcum LLP is seeking a full-time administrative assistant with strong organizational skills to support our Office Managing Partner.  This position requires a high-energy professional with strong interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

  • Assist with scheduling meetings, conference attendance and travel itineraries
  • Review and sort mail and flag time sensitive and response needed items
  • Prepare, type and edit correspondence and statistical information
  • Coordinate networking and client relationship activity tracking and monitoring
  • Assist with monthly billing
  • Organization, reconciliation and input of monthly expense reports
  • Provide administrative support for Firm, Office and Service Line initiatives
  • Office assistance may be required when the office is short staffed or during peak processing periods

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the firm
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to generate a quality work product in a timely manner with strong attention to detail
  • 5+ years of administrative assistant experience in a professional services firm; experience supporting a CPA a plus
