As a Senior Account Director, you manage a portfolio of business, leading senior level client engagements with revenue responsibility of at least $1m. You will be a strategic leader responsible for developing, executing and refining a high-level strategy to grow existing accounts in the Healthcare space. You will build multi-disciplinary teams that develop exceptional work that delivers both the clients business objectives and meets the needs of the digitally savvy, discerning consumer.
You build intimate and trusted relationships to ensure our clients know we are here to make them successful. You commit to building a thorough knowledge of the Healthcare industry and its consumers. You commit to learning the client organizations inner workings. Its an equal partnership where you can be transparent and confront the tough issues when needed. Through a learning & optimizing mindset and culture of problem-solving, you help clients understand how their business will be transformed by digital. You expertly guide them to help them achieve the desired outcomes by:
Leading them to understand how their business will be disrupted or transformed by digital
Reframing the ask to make sure it is what they really need
Developing a perspective on their future and where they need to meet consumers given changing expectations providing thought leadership irrespective of whether it improves our bottom line.
The Senior Account Director role is about growth and successful client stewardship of the existing business. You are passionate about growing a business; you see growth as the lifeblood of a healthy business that drives personal development, client impact and financial performance. You leverage your existing relationship networks amongst the marketing, business and IT leadership community to identify new opportunities to grow our business. You will lead complex multidisciplinary pitches for our clients, bringing strategic thinking, industry knowledge and strong teamwork and collaboration skills. You will also help grow our existing client relationships, delivering greater impact for them.
Client Stewardship: You have strong client relationship skills, a proven track record of building strong personal and professional relationships with Executive Leadership including C-suite. Your relationships are based on your ability to provide a point of view, an opinion, and a new perspective to senior executives on the trends and currents impacting their business, making you a trusted advisor. One of your strengths is your ability to knit together a broad range of capabilities in the service of helping clients win in their markets.
Leadership: You know how to rally, inspire and coach team members with big ambitions and aspirations. You are relentlessly optimistic and a source of positive energy for those around you. You are comfortable working with creatives, technologists & strategists. You have a genuine appreciation for creativity and an interest in technology and its impact on humankind. You display intellectual curiosity and openness to learn about new industries, new fields, new disciplines and are excited by change and learning.
You are entrepreneurial and like to operate across more than one client. You are willing to take risks and have the resilience to respond positively to challenges. You want to be disruptive, to try something different and make it succeed.
Your Skills & Experience:
6-10 years minimum experience in digital transformation and technology. You are likely to have a background in consulting, digital or transformational leadership with a strong knowledge of digital marketing
3 years minimum experience in managing and growing a client portfolio or $2-3m+. Not just a salesperson, you have experience up to and including C-level executives.
Extensive knowledge of the Healthcare Industry
Experience in bringing together teams with multiple discipline representation (especially in technology, creative, media and strategy).
